School Physical Therapist | Worcester, Massachusetts

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts PT licensure and certification required
• Must complete CORI background check and fingerprinting prior to start
• School-based clinical experience (strongly preferred)
• Ability to work effectively with preschool and elementary-age students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Credentialed candidates will receive hiring priority

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to preschool and elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school staff
• Track progress, document outcomes, and adapt therapy plans as needed
• Offer consultative support to teachers and caregivers for student success
• Attend meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in school activities
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical practice

This is a full-time, onsite position for 30 hours per week beginning as soon as possible, continuing tentatively through June 15, 2027, with the potential to extend. The district is seeking to fill the position permanently, so initial contracts may be short-term, offering you flexibility and the opportunity for ongoing employment if the position remains open.
