Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Locations: Vine Grove, KY; Leitchfield, KY

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our pediatric therapy team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders in children. You will work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members to help patients achieve meaningful progress and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services.
  • Assist children with articulation, language development, social communication, feeding, and swallowing skills.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment strategies and home programs.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to support patient success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, evaluations, progress notes, and treatment records.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Serve as a Clinical Fellowship (CF) supervisor when applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language assessments, treatment techniques, and documentation practices.
  • Experience with feeding and swallowing disorders, assistive technology, sensory needs, and dyslexia interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and team members.
  • Knowledge of community resources and support services.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Completion of required clinical internships and training.
  • Minimum one year of experience providing services to children and/or adolescents preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage clinical services effectively.
