Retail Store Manager

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Retail Store Manager to lead one of our Made in TN retail locations. This role is ideal for someone who loves people, takes pride in creating a beautiful and welcoming store environment, and is passionate about supporting local makers and small businesses. As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day success of the store by delivering excellent customer service, leading and supporting the team, maintaining strong visual standards, and helping drive sales. You’ll set the tone for the store by creating a positive, upbeat environment for both customers and staff while representing the Made in TN brand with professionalism and Southern hospitality. What You’ll Do Lead the day-to-day operations of the store with a strong focus on customer experience, team support, and sales Greet customers and ensure every guest receives warm, attentive service with Southern charm Train, coach, and support store team members to deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge Help customers discover Tennessee-made products and recommend thoughtful gifts and local favorites Oversee store appearance, merchandising, and visual presentation to ensure the shop is always clean, organized, stocked, and inviting Manage inventory flow including restocking, receiving product, and communicating inventory needs Handle register operations and ensure customer transactions are completed accurately and efficiently Assist with opening and closing procedures, including daily store readiness Help motivate the team to meet sales goals and create a positive, high-energy store environment Maintain store cleanliness and organization through daily light cleaning, straightening, and upkeep Communicate effectively with leadership and report directly to the Director of Retail Operations Represent the Made in TN brand with pride, professionalism, and a passion for local products What We’re Looking For Friendly, dependable, and naturally customer-focused Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and support a team Passion for local makers, small businesses, and creating memorable customer experiences Comfortable engaging with customers and leading by example on the sales floor Organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a beautiful store environment Able to stand for extended periods and assist with light lifting, stocking, and merchandising Weekend availability (Saturday or Sunday) is required Previous retail, customer service, or leadership experience preferred Experience with store operations, team supervision, merchandising, or inventory management is a plus Why You’ll Love Working Here Be part of a brand that celebrates Tennessee makers and local goods Lead a store that creates meaningful experiences for both locals and visitors Work in a positive, welcoming, and community-focused retail environment Help customers find thoughtful gifts and souvenirs they’ll truly love Be part of a growing small business with heart #J-18808-Ljbffr Made in TN
