Senior Consolidations Accountant

We’re working with a rapidly growing global organization looking to add a Senior Accountant to its Consolidations team in Westport, CT.

This isn’t just another GL accounting position.

You’ll work across a multi-entity, international business and get exposure to consolidations, acquisitions, multiple currencies, financial reporting, and systems/process improvement as the company continues to scale.

What you’ll be working on:

• Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
\n
• Multi-entity consolidations
\n
• Intercompany entries and eliminations
\n
• Multi-currency accounting
\n
• Financial statement preparation and analysis
\n
• Acquisition integrations
\n
• Audit support
\n
• ERP and consolidation systems
\n
• Process improvement and automation
\n

A big part of the opportunity is becoming a go-to resource within the finance team for the company’s ERP and consolidation platforms, giving you a chance to build valuable systems expertise alongside your technical accounting experience.

The ideal background:

• 5+ years of accounting experience
\n
• Consolidations and intercompany experience *Required*
\n
• Strong US GAAP foundation
\n
• Advanced Excel and strong systems skills
\n
• Experience within a mid-sized or large organization
\n
• CPA is a plus but not required
\n
