Medical Insurance Specialist

The Retina Center

Job Description

Our company is currently seeking an ON-SITE AR Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for managing AR follow-up, and revenue cycle activities. This role is best suited for professionals who can step into the position with minimal training and confidently manage assigned accounts. Entry-level candidates or those requiring extensive billing training may not be a fit for this role.

Responsibilities:

Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
Compute and record numerical data
Check the accuracy of business transactions
Perform data entry and administrative duties
Perform follow up calls with insurance companies
Working denials
Presenting appeals
Payment entries
Charge entries

Qualifications:

Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
Self-proficient and self-managed
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong organizational skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
