Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

IR Tech - IR Tech

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 8-hour flexible day shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Fast-paced interventional radiology unit with variety of procedures
• Average 4-6 procedures per day with 1:1 patient ratio
• Work with team consisting of 1 RN and 2 Rad Techs
• Float to other locations in central region as needed
• On-call requirements: 1-2 nights of weeknight call with 30-minute response time
• Weekend/holiday rotation for call only - every 4th weekend, holidays as needed
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Wisconsin license (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Minimum 2+ years experience required in interventional cath procedures, interventional vascular procedures, or interventional neurology
• Preferred experience with high-quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography exams, cone beam CT exams, three-dimensional reconstruction, and complex interventional procedures
• Epic charting experience highly preferred
• Any colored scrubs required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call for low census hours with 2-hour minimum call back
