Athletic Trainer

Athletic Trainer – Keene State College Under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer, provide Athletic Health Care to KSC NCAA Athletes in the Athletic Training Room, while providing practice and game coverage to KSC NCAA Athletic Teams. Collaborate with the Athletic Training Staff, Team physicians, Health Services, assisting in the overall service component to Athletics that includes prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care treatment, rehabilitation & reconditioning, organization & administration, and professional responsibility. This is a 10‑month position. Job Duties Prevention and Health Promotion (injury, illness) Clinical Evaluation and Diagnosis Immediate Care, Acute Emergent Care Therapeutic Intervention including Treatment, Rehabilitation & Reconditioning Organization & Administration, including daily EMR Professional responsibility: maintain licensure and certification, stay current on athlete health care. Other duties as assigned (e.g., inventory, CPR instructor for Athletic staff members, online student athletic medical records super‑user). Minimum Qualifications Entry‑level Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field, or Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field and two years of experience as a certified athletic trainer. BOCATC Certification. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of NH. Post‑Professional Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (optional). Experience in collegiate athletic medicine. CPR instructor. Compensation Pay Range $40,020.00 – $71,130.00. Location Keene, New Hampshire.
