Physical Therapy Assistant FlexologistStretchLab is seeking multiple personal trainers, massage therapists, physical therapists, and dance/yoga/Pilates Instructors to join our team for our Long Beach Marina and Surf City studios located in the Long Beach Marketplace shopping center at Pacific Coast Highway and 2nd Street near the Long Beach marina and the Seacliff Village shopping center in Huntington Beach, respectively. StretchLab Flexologists provide one-on-one assisted stretches to clients.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessionsEncourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessionsBuild StretchLab membership and retain current clienteleEnsure client safety regarding proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab polices and safety rulesAttend staff meetings and required educational presentationsHandle member concerns, when applicableAssist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales, as neededMaintain strong social media presence to encourage client membership and retentionClean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given timeUnderstand and implement all COVID-19 health and safety guidelines to ensure staff and client safetyQualifications:Appreciation for the boutique fitness environment and a passion for stretching, mobility and flexibility;Preferred background:Massage TherapistPersonal TrainerPhysical TherapistPilates or Yoga InstructorDance InstructorExperience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clientsFitness certification requiredAbility to create a positive environment that welcomes all peopleFantastic communication skills that exudes empathyMust love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve their fitness goalsProfessional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to company policiesMust complete the Flexologist Training Program with a passing score, which includes approximately 20 hours of online work, a 2-day, in-person/hands-on training, and 5-10 hours of in-studio training (all compensated)Compensation & Benefits:This position offers a competitive base salary; based on experience & performance.
