Receiving Associate

Job Description Supports the day‑to‑day operations of the Branch providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions, including unloading and checking incoming shipments while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. Receive inventory coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other locations accurately and promptly. This is a safety‑sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre‑employment drug test and background check. The drug test screens for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Only job‑related convictions will be considered and will not automatically disqualify the candidate. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Ability to identify product by size, type, style, color, or product code. Ability to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked. Basic math and reasoning skills. Certification of power‑truck equipment. Experience operating inventory control equipment, such as bar‑coding equipment and handheld devices. Physical Requirements Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment. Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing. Position may require climbing ladders for top‑level selection. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
