MMD Hollywood is seeking energetic, customer-focused professionals to join our team as a Sales Representative / Budtender . Located in the heart of Hollywood, we are a licensed cannabis retailer dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, product education, and industry-leading service.

Location: 1515 N Cahuenga Blvd, Hollywood, CA

Compensation: $17.87 per hour plus participation in the store tip pool.

As a Sales Representative / Budtender, you will play a critical role in creating an outstanding customer experience. You will educate customers, provide personalized product recommendations, process transactions accurately, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

• Welcome and engage every customer in a friendly, professional manner.
• Build rapport and identify customer needs through active listening and thoughtful questions.
• Recommend cannabis products based on customer preferences, goals, experience levels, and budgets.
• Deliver exceptional service that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Escalate customer concerns and operational issues to management when appropriate.

• Maintain a strong understanding of cannabis products, brands, consumption methods, and industry trends.
• Stay informed about new product launches, promotions, and company initiatives.
• Educate customers responsibly while ensuring compliance with all state and company regulations.

• Process transactions accurately using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Assist with product stocking, merchandising, and maintaining an organized sales floor.
• Support inventory counts, audits, and other operational tasks as assigned.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

• Work collaboratively with coworkers to create a positive and supportive environment.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized store throughout each shift.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability at all times.
• Contribute to a culture focused on growth, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, sales, customer service, cannabis, or a related customer-facing industry.
• Experience handling cash and operating POS systems preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for cannabis and commitment to ongoing product education.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive retail tasks, including bending, reaching, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
