Senior Physical Therapist Responsible for evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of all patients referred for their services. An integral healthcare provider accountable to assist patients to progress to their highest level of function. Works in conjunction with allied health professionals to coordinate treatment plans and care. Essential Functions Interact with co‑workers, visitors, and other staff consistently with Jefferson values. Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, interventions, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, and outpatient settings. Participate in student education (Part‑Time or Full‑Time students). Assess, synthesize, and apply literature to clinical practice. Assist in education and teaching commensurate with a novice clinician. Plan, organize, and deliver treatment programs that help clients recover and rehabilitate. Utilize tools and techniques to administer safe therapeutic interventions and trainings for patients and families. Record and document clients’ health progress information: evaluations, daily treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Assist with staff orientation, mentorship, and competency assessment of new or rotating staff. Suggest and implement program development or performance improvement activities with manager/supervisor approval. Complete education, teaching, and professional activities commensurate with the position. Support supervisor/manager with ongoing clinical and departmental operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program. Experience Minimum of 5 years of current clinical practice. Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements Valid state license in Physical Therapy. CPR certification – American Heart Association, Health Care Provider, BLS.
