We're partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced tax professional who can navigate complex tax situations, identify opportunities, and provide confidence to clients and stakeholders. This role is designed for someone who enjoys digging into details, interpreting changing regulations, and turning tax complexity into clear solutions.This is not an entry-level compliance role. We're looking for a seasoned professional who can leverage years of tax experience to make meaningful contributions from day one.What You'll Own: Rather than simply processing returns, you'll be the person evaluating situations, identifying risks, and ensuring clients remain compliant while maximizing available tax advantages.Your work may include:Preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returnsResearching tax law changes and applying them to client situationsAnalyzing financial information for accuracy and completenessIdentifying tax-saving opportunities and planning strategiesAdvising clients on tax implications of financial decisionsResponding to IRS and state noticesAssisting with audits and regulatory inquiriesManaging multiple engagements and filing deadlinesReviewing workpapers and supporting schedulesDeveloping strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
