Position Details: Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant! Job Title: Medical Assistant Location: Albany primary, anticipated travel to Salem every other Friday, but must be willing to travel to all MidValley locations if needed Typical Schedule: Off Wednesdays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm General Description of All Benefits: Health Insurance – medical, dental, and vision with HSA, FSA options 401k - employer matching up to 4% Life Insurance – employer paid & voluntary options 8 paid holidays per year Tiered PTO accrual 80 – 200 hours annually Complimentary parking Pet insurance voluntary option Employee Assistance Program provided Qualifications: Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program, a Certified or Registered MA, or Certified Derm Tech HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some MA duties include rooming patients, assisting providers in procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks Our medical assistants must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and very detail oriented.
