Experience: • 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • Experience with Epic is preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Cath and EP experience in both scrubbing and panning the X-Ray Table. Unit Details: Produces optimal diagnostic images while providing patient care in the Diagnostic Interventional Department. Provides radiology services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families. Operates interventional imaging equipment and related machinery. Verifies and executes physician orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams, ensuring proper preparation and patient safety during procedures. Performs as first assist to the Interventional Cardiologist, Vascular Surgeon, or Interventional Radiologist. Duties include setting up sterile trays and maintaining room sterility, circulating, manipulation of drains and lines, suturing, billing and filming, supplies stocking, charting, and quality improvement studies. Determines the best method of obtaining optimal interventional examinations while ensuring patient safety; regulates patient flow, consults with radiologists to determine contrast media applications or variances in established procedures, continually evaluates exam quality, and makes necessary corrections to improve image quality. Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri with rotating days off. 1 night of call during the week. 1 weekend of call Sat 7am - Mon 7am every 4th weekend. Will be required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period. Schedule varies based upon department needs and may include weekends and holidays. May be required to work overtime.
