Project Manager/Scrum Master

Project Manager/Scrum MasterWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to join a growing Digital Applications organization. This individual will play a key role in driving Agile maturity, improving delivery processes, and helping scale a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem that supports customer-facing and internal business applications. This is an opportunity for a servant leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys bringing structure to complex initiatives, and is passionate about helping teams improve execution and delivery outcomes.Location: Downers Grove, Illinois (Hybrid)Key ResponsibilitiesLead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and release planning.Drive Agile best practices and establish delivery discipline across teams.Partner closely with technology leadership to improve processes, workflows, and team effectiveness.Coordinate efforts across internal development teams, business stakeholders, contractors, and third-party vendors.Facilitate prioritization discussions and help ensure alignment around business goals and delivery objectives.Track project progress, identify risks, remove blockers, and drive timely resolution of issues.Support onboarding and coordination of vendor and contract resources.Assist in defining scalable delivery frameworks and team structures as the organization grows.Required Qualifications7+ years of Project Management and/or Scrum Master experience.Strong background leading Agile software development teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.Proven ability to improve delivery processes and team performance.Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and SmartSheets.Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in environments with ambiguity and evolving priorities.Personable, team player, flexible, and open to ambiguity.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting digital product, application development, or e-commerce teams.Background in hospitality, restaurant, retail, loyalty, or customer-facing digital environments.Experience driving Agile transformation or process improvement initiatives.Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe) is a plus but not required.Work EnvironmentHybrid schedule with approximately three days per week onsite in the Chicago area.Fast-paced environment with visibility and exposure to senior leadership.Opportunity to help shape the future delivery organization and establish Agile best practices across multiple teams.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
