Pay $25 - $35 per hour Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with valid EFDA certification/credentials in the State of Indiana. Familiarity with major dental/medical software ecosystems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic) and comfort handling high-tech 3D scanners. Strong grasp of dental anatomy, medical terminology, pediatric dentistry principles, and basic medical coding for billing accuracy. Deep commitment to maintaining absolute HIPAA standards for patient privacy and strict adherence to OSHA/aseptic protocols. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, an adaptable team-first attitude, and a warm, comforting chairside manner. Job Description Execute seamless four-handed dentistry alongside the dentist during complex procedures across restorations, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Confidently operate advanced medical imaging equipment, including 3D oral scanners and digital X-ray systems, to support highly precise diagnoses. Maintain meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) across platforms like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, ensuring flawless entry of treatment plans, medical history, and clinical documentation. Assess patient comfort, explain intricate dental and medical terminology in patient-friendly language, and monitor vital signs throughout treatment. Command strict infection control protocols, utilizing aseptic techniques to prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and strictly adhere to HIPAA and safety regulations.
