Apartment Leasing Associate

Overview:

An exciting new luxury apartment community in Downtown Fort Lauderdale/Las Olas is seeking an experienced and ambitious multifamily Leasing Associate. This full-time in-office role will execute all aspects of the leasing process, including lead qualification, property tours, follow up and negotiation, application processing, move-in coordination, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Presenting the property favorably to prospects, partners, brokers, and other stakeholders.
\n
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with potential residents.
\n
• Qualifying prospects and converting those conversations into property tours.
\n
• Following up with prospects directly via email, text, and phone.
\n
• Documenting leasing activity and forecasting the leasing pipeline.
\n
• Advising on and implementing marketing plans and promotions.
\n
• Managing the leasing workflow to guide prospects through completing applications, verifying income, performing background checks, submitting documents, and communicating their approval status.
\n
• Coordinating move-ins with the on-site management team.
\n
• Inspecting model and available units, ensuring leased units are move-in ready, and delivering move-in gifts.
\n
• Fostering referral partnerships with local universities, brokerages and employers.
\n
• Participating in and presenting at frequent on-site resident community events.
\n
• Supporting the property management and maintenance teams regarding resident issues.
\n
• Participating in the lease renewal process.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• 2-5 years experience in Class A multifamily leasing, particularly lease-ups.
\n
• Deep familiarity with Entrata property management software preferred.
\n
• Infectiously positive attitude and ability working effectively under pressure.
\n
• Warm, energetic and conscientious work style, capable of working with anyone and mediating customer service issues.
\n
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
\n
• Four year college degree preferred.
\n
• Persuasive written and oral communication skills.
\n
• Persistent sales mentality.
\n
• Represent the property and brand in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
\n
