Responsibilities Provide supervision and leadership to camp & ropes including low ropes, high ropes, and climbing tower. Monitor camp adventure operations for adherence to all ABEE, ACCT, ACA, state, local and YMCA health and safety regulations. Keep accurate and timely records. Report issues when necessary. Maintain training in all Ropes Course facilitation and management, including weekly checks and rescues. Ensure daily/weekly opening equipment and course checks are completed in entirety each day/week. Implement ‘Challenge by Choice’ in the camper experience and ensure that campers feel a sense of accomplishment, not defeat, from the challenge course activity. Assist with camp operations related to prep, evening programing, daily and weekly cleaning. Supervise, Evaluate, and Coach High Ropes, Climbing Tower, and Low Ropes staff. Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Must have experience working with youth in a camp or outdoor setting. Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
