Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Nursery for a travel nursing job in Silver City, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nursery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: This Newborn Nursery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Silver City, New Mexico. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality maternal and neonatal care within the nursery, including responsibilities related to newborns, GYN, and Mother-Baby patients. The role involves working night shifts, with a primary focus on ensuring the safety and well-being of patients through collaborative care and adherence to clinical protocols. Job Details: Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico or multi-state licensure, Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required upon hire, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) certification required upon hire, Neonatal Resuscitation Program required upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification, STABLE certification, Baby-Friendly experience. Experience Required: Three years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Medical-Surgical units. Additional Information: Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic medical record documentation is preferred. The position involves floating to other hospital units as needed, and working every third weekend is required. Block scheduling and requests for off days are available upon request.
