Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D Rn)

Seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team. This position requires expertise in providing high-quality care during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Perform sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision.
Provide comprehensive triage to assess and prioritize patient needs.
Deliver care in accordance with evidence-based practices and AWHONN standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered based on experience.
Must have experience performing sterile vaginal exams independently.
Valid certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP.
Epic experience required.

Work Schedule

This role requires flexibility, including the ability to work on weekends and during major holidays. Scheduling preferences may be considered but are not guaranteed, and applicants must be open to working both day and night shifts as needed.

Additional Information

Guaranteed hours may be subject to facility call-off policies.
The position may require floating between labor and delivery and mother-baby units.
Free parking available on-site.
