Join us! \n Job Summary and Qualifications \n \n \n \n ​​The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.​ \n What you will do in this role: \n \n \n ​Applies principles of cardiac and medical-surgical nursing in providing patient care. \n ​Maintains a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment commonly used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients. \n ​Provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. \n ​Provides pre-operative and post-operative patient teaching and education related to specific surgical procedures or adaptations in health status resulting from treatment. \n \n What qualifications you will need: \n \n \n Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date \n (RN) Registered Nurse \n Associate Degree \n \n \n \n \n Benefits\n \n Frisbie Memorial Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
