I have already placed Sr. Controls Engineer for this plant and have another person in the final stages for another position. The challenge is going to be getting someone who wants to travel that much in the beginning. Travel will mainly be to their plant in Anderson SC so finding someone close to there may work as long as they are willing to relocate to Ohio. Well established consumer products manufacturer looking for a Maintenance Manager for their brand new plant being built in Defiance OH. Need a strong, hands on leader who knows how to coach, mentor, and develop people. Have to have experience managing both salary and hourly people. Need someone with a strong industrial maintenance and project management background preferably out of consumer products or high speed manufacturing with CMMS and preventative maintenance experience. Must be able to set up PM programs. Looking for someone preferably coming from a large organiation that is use to managing a large team. My client has interviewed people before that have come from smaller organizations and they just dont have the depth of experience they need. As mentioned previously, the person must be willing to work from home to start and travel 3 out of 4 weeks per month for the first 3 to 6 months to other plants in SC and PA and then relocate to Defiance after that.
