Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician to join our open-heart surgical team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in scrubbing for cardiac bypass procedures, valve replacements, and robotic lung surgeries. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to supporting various general operating room cases when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Scrub for primary procedures including cardiac bypass and valve replacements.
• Support robotic lung cases as required.
• Participate in general operating room cases when not engaged in cardiovascular operations.
• Contribute to a sterile environment and follow all safety and hygiene protocols.

Shift Details

This position involves 8-hour day shifts, with an estimated call requirement of approximately 10 days per month. This may include one or two weekends during the month, with a 30-minute response time for on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cardiovascular OR Technician with specific skills in cardiac procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety standards.
