HR Specialist

HR SpecialistSavvee Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist to support our federal client in a hybrid environment located in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will bring experience supporting executive-level recruitment and staffing activities, with a strong focus on documentation, compliance, and stakeholder coordination. This individual should be skilled at managing executive applicant processes, maintaining accurate personnel records, and supporting workforce reporting and human resources initiatives.Essential Functions:Supporting SES and political appointee recruitment and staffing activities.Managing applicant records and staffing documentation.Coordinating executive staffing actions and recruitment processes.Maintaining recruitment files and records for accountability and compliance.Processing executive applicant packages and supporting documentation.Preparing applicant status reporting and workforce information.Supporting development of executive staffing deliverables.Coordinating with executive leadership and recruiting stakeholders.Ensuring personnel documentation is accurate and complete.Assisting with executive human resources management initiatives.Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs.Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.Required Education and Training:Bachelor's degree OR eight years of experience in related area of the position.Minimum Experience and Skills Required:Prior HR/recruiting experienceExpert analytical, writing, and oral communication skillsAbility to obtain the client's Public Trust clearanceA proficiency in utilizing MS Office productsProven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted toolsAbility to work independentlyA highly motivated self-starterMotivated and have excellent customer service skillsDesired but not required qualifications:Prior experience supporting SES staffing and recruitment activitiesExpert knowledge of federal personnel staffing and recruitment related to SES positionsDHS and/or CBP experienceEOE Statement: Savvee Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.EEOC- Eligibility to Work: In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.Washington, DC Hybrid Full Time $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
