About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Advisor in People and Culture to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operationally focused HR advisory and consultancy services, with a strong emphasis on industrial and employee relations, complex case management, performance management, and HR policy and procedures. This role also involves the development of new policies and procedures that align with the strategic direction of the organization, as well as offering consultative advice to managers and employees on a range of HR policy and governance matters. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of generalist HR experience, the ability to work in a fast-paced operational setting, and a depth of specialist knowledge in at least two key HR disciplines. Applicants for the Senior Advisor position at the company should possess a tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline, and previous experience within the QLD public sector is desirable. Key strengths for success in this role include the ability to interpret relevant industrial acts, awards, and frameworks, strong writing skills with experience in policy and procedure development, and a commitment to ethical behavior and decision-making. The role requires the candidate to be attentive to the needs of others, contribute meaningfully to the team, and be ready to assist others when needed.
