Junior Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Technical Project Manager (Jr TPM) to support a mainframe-to-cloud migration initiative. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-driven mindset, along with a willingness to learn in a high-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires a strong foundation in project management practices, with an emphasis on Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent communication skills. Job Responsibilities: Support and drive execution of technical projects related to mainframe to cloud migrations Manage sprint backlogs, track progress via JIRA and Kanban boards Handle escalations, ensure resolution of tickets, and coordinate across cross-functional teams Serve as liaison between technical teams (developers, operations) and business stakeholders Maintain and track project documentation and timelines Assist with operational tasks such as upgrades, maintenance windows, and incident ticket follow-ups Ensure alignment with ITSM processes and reporting Actively engage with development teams to unblock issues and maintain delivery momentum Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly and proactively Required Skills: 2–5+ years of technical project management experience Strong Agile/Scrum background; experience as a Scrum Master preferred Hands-on experience with JIRA, Kanban, ServiceNow (SNOW), and ITSM tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills Driver mentality – proactive, organized, detailed-oriented Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage escalations effectively Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding their workflows Familiarity with SDLC processes and cloud migration projects Operational experience supporting upgrades, maintenance, and production issues Preferred Skills: Experience in mainframe-to-cloud migration projects Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Understanding of change management and release processes Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong collaborative spirit Certifications: Scrum Master certification is a plus ITIL Foundation or equivalent is a plus Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Email ID * This field is required Please enter valid emailId.
