Fire Suppression Service Technician 3

JOB OVERVIEW THIS POSITION WILL BE IN MORENCI, AZ.

RESPONSIBILITIES Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites. Service, troubleshoot and install a variety of manufacturers, including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Manage daily service calls, customer activity, and program system products. Work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazard systems. Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Participate in an on‑call rotation for Emergency Service. Perform inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements. Inspect customer systems, using smart phone and other equipment; may include government work. QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Outstanding customer‑facing service and problem‑solving skills. PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferred: Manufacturer certifications (ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem) and local/state license if required. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21-27 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
