CT Technologist - Weekend Option

Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging at a hospital setting, supporting patient care within a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure. Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and prepare patients using clear communication techniques. Administer contrast agents via venipuncture when needed, ensuring sterile techniques. Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat or adjust as necessary, and document findings accurately in RIS/PACS. Maintain equipment and workspaces, adhere to infection control standards, and monitor patient condition during procedures. Support operational workflow, assist with patient transport, and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).
