Job Description

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Manager

City/State: Scranton, Pennsylvania

Shift: Day shift position, with variable start times. On days when there are meetings, it may require coming in before 7am or staying after 4, depending on the meeting invites. No weekends or holidays.

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: 09/28/2026

Job Description:

Manage and lead the operating room team, focusing on KPIs such as turnaround times and first case on time starts, while ensuring regulatory preparedness and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction within the operating rooms.
• Maintain compliance with TJC and DOH surveys.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an OR leader with trauma experience.
• Strong understanding of current AORN Guidelines and evidence-based practice.
• Experience with TJC and DOH surveys and regulatory preparedness.
• Preferably CNOR certified.
• Experienced in managing in a collective bargaining department.
• Proficient with UKG/Kronos/Workday for staff scheduling.
