Compensation & Schedule Details
- Hours & Shift: 40 hours per week (Day shift, 0630–1430). Weekly Monday orientations.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Target Start Date: September 21, 2026).
- Call & Weekend Requirements: Zero weekend hours. Call requirement involves late stays (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM) Monday through Thursday; no scheduled cases after 5:00 PM daily.
Key Facility Policies & Unit Scope
- Unit Overview: 5 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites (currently transitioning EHR from OR Manager Picis to Meditech OR Manager). Scrubs are provided by the facility.
- Floating & Duties: May float to PACU if needed. Specialty services include general surgery, plastics, pain management, ophthalmology, endoscopy/colonoscopy, and vascular cases.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of OR circulating experience required, serving adult and geriatric populations.
- Licensure: Active Alabama (AL) RN license or compact state license.
- Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required (PALS preferred).
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
