Project ManagerEaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Project Manager. This is a hybrid role located at our Mountainside, NJ or New York, NY facility.What You'll Do:The primary function of a Field Based Project Manager is to create value and establish the project order management process as a key differentiator from our competitors. This position is heavily involved in the electrical and mechanical details of major strategic project order and focuses on Heavy Multitenant High Rise, Hospital, University, Commercial Construction, Data Center, Utility and Industrial Projects.In this function you will:Manage the technical aspects of major electrical assembly project orders by meeting customer specifications and timelines for products, documentations, and quality.Utilize the Project Management team resources assigned to their project ordersAssess and apply in depth knowledge of sales planning services to internal clients in one or more specialty areas, requiring technical applicationUpgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and customer trendsEnsure compliance with applicable processes and procedures to achieve business goalsUse competitive information to leverage advantages of Eaton CorporationNegotiate internally for resources and priorities needed for customersImprove financial position for Eaton and the customer.Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionPossess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's licenseMinimum 5 years of relevant experienceCandidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Mountainside, NJ or New York, NY to be considered.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.Preferred Qualifications:PMP CertificationStrong application of electrical products5+ years of Project Management experienceSkills:Position Criteria:Ability to present information to others in a persuasive way, professionally and diplomatically assert the leadership role that the title project manager conveys.Demonstrated ability to take ownership of an assignment and customer satisfactionAbility to apply project management methodologies and strategies to reduce potential project risk throughout the duration of the project lifecycleCapable of planning and executing presentations on specific products and services to internal and external customers in order to gain recognition and customer acceptancePoses advanced computer skills in advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and email management with strong ability to learn and use new software programsConsistent demonstration of planning, leading, and communication results from executive changesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and situations to achieve superior proactive project order management and customer serviceTravel 25% of the timeThe expected annual salary range for this role is $119000 - $174000 a year.
