Full Stack Software Engineer - AI

As an AI Software Engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining robust and scalable AI applications. In this role, you will work across the stack, from integration to backend systems and databases, to the front-end development, and deployment of applications on cloud to deliver robust AI applications. This role involves working closely with AI scientists and domain experts.A caregiver in this role works remotely across the country Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. with up to 5% of travel required and no on-call requirements.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Design, develop and deploy web applications and APIs that meet product requirements.Work closely with domain experts, AI/ML scientists, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust and scalable solutions.Drive the architectural decisions for new products and services to ensure scalability.Write high quality, efficient, and well-documented code.Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.Integrate applications with a variety of external APIs and data services.Debug, test, and optimize applications.Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering and AI application development.Collaborate with cyber security to protect sensitive information.All other duties as assignedMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering fieldFive+ years of experience in software and application developmentProficiency in modern frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React or AngularStrong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar languagesProven experience with APIs and RESTful web services.Experience with the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and API such as FHIR/HL7, SMART on FHIRExperience in using DevOps tools and processes such as Git, Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD, Docker, job orchestration tools, and monitoring tools on cloud platforms.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing secure coding standardsExperience with Epic modules and data stores (Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle)Experience with modern data and ML/AI platforms such as Databricks and SnowflakeFamiliarity with AI agent development technologies and tools such as LangGraph, Swarm, MCPFamiliarity with AI and ML concepts and techniquesPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. Ability to communicate and exchange accurate informationPersonal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $112,110.00Maximum Annual Salary: $170,955.00The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
