Requisition and Location Requisition #:660107 | Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 | Category: Nursing | Schedule: Day Shift | Employment Type: Casual / On Call Job Overview Per Diem RN positions; Permanent Day Shift; Weekend rotation (Working 72 hours per 6 week schedule after successful completion of orientation). Responsibilities The Oncology Infusion Clinics provides both standard of care and research chemotherapy/immunotherapy, supportive care infusions, and clinical interventions for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. Other performance and patient outcome services include nurse telephone triage, discharge planning, care coordination, ambulatory clinical evaluation, and advanced drug preparation. Qualifications Associate degree from Accredited Nursing Program required. BSN/MSN matriculation required within 1 year of hire and completion of degree within 5 years of hire. Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required. BLS CPR certification required. 2 years of oncology experience strongly preferred. ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required. OCN Certification preferred. Important Notice Associates’ degree nurses must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete within 5 years of start date. Applicants requiring sponsorship are not considered. Salary Range Minimum $55.59/hour - Maximum $55.59/hour.
