Senior Manager, Field Effectiveness

Amgen seeks a Senior Manager, Field Effectiveness to lead field sales optimization initiatives for the Rare Disease Business Unit. The role involves coordinating projects, implementing strategies to improve sales force efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across remote or hybrid work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead field effectiveness projects ensuring sales force operates at maximum efficiency
- Implement decisions to increase field force effectiveness through complex analysis and business process optimization
- Identify sales fundamentals issues and work with stakeholders to propose sales force effectiveness initiatives
- Manage special projects including sales force structure, launch readiness, and pilot programs
- Develop sales force metrics and dashboards with analytics and reporting teams to assess performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years in sales analytics, field effectiveness, management consulting, or commercial operations
- Master's degree and 4 years in sales analytics, field effectiveness, management consulting, or commercial operations
- Doctorate degree and 2 years in sales analytics, field effectiveness, management consulting, or commercial operations
- Strategic thinking with ability to drive influence with sales leadership
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose business issues and adjust strategies
- Experience managing people or leading teams and projects
- Collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional stakeholders
