An exciting opportunity awaits for a Texas Certified Special Education Teacher in a dynamic K-8 setting supporting inclusion classrooms. This contract role begins immediately and extends through May 21, 2027, offering the chance to make a profound difference in the academic and social development of approximately 24 students. The role requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week over five days, providing stability and routine as you empower learners with diverse needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Texas Special Education Teacher certification is required.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting students in inclusion settings preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, administrators, and families.
• A passion for fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and instructional supports for K-8 students with varying disabilities within general education classrooms.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance and student growth.
• Collaborate with related service providers and classroom teachers to adapt materials and differentiate instruction.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and engage in ongoing communication with families.
• Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes student well-being and academic achievement.
