Lab Technician Pay Rate: $43 /hr Location: East Hartford, CT Area Code: 860, 959 | ZIP Code: 06118 Start Date: Right Away Responsibilities Materials characterization (including polymers/composites) Data analysis and technical reporting Equipment operation and calibration Safety and quality compliance Teamwork in production or R&D environments Coordinate meetings, notifications, tracker maintenance, schedules, risks, and budget visibility to ensure aligned execution across engineering, test, manufacturing, vendors and leadership Providing cross-discipline integration support for Raw Material Supply Chain changes and obsolescences Education and Experience Associate degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering technology Basic laboratory or manufacturing experience Experience with polymer or composite materials is preferred Laboratory instrumentation experience is a plus Aerospace or manufacturing environment experience is preferred Skills and Knowledge Strong attention to detail Documentation skills Ability to follow procedures Laboratory testing and sample preparation Logistic support Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
