(USA) Vision Center Manager L3

Position Summary Manager, Vision Center – Walmart Supercenter #3771 – 6150 S 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85041-5004 Responsibilities Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, inventory levels, budgeting, and forecasting. Model, enforce, and provide direction to Associates on customer/member service approaches, ensuring complaints are resolved within company guidelines. Oversee community outreach programs, encouraging Associates to act as community members. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, including inventory and safety controls, and develop action plans to improve performance. Provide supervision and development of Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognition. Consult with and educate Members/Customers on product selection, measurements, prescription verification, and maintaining confidential information. Support the Open Door Policy, addressing Associate concerns and researching issues to suggest resolutions. Coordinate job‑related activities, building accountability, measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities. Promote a culture of belonging, diversity, and high‑performing teams while upholding integrity and ethical standards. Deliver customer focus by applying EDLP and EDLC business models and making data‑driven decisions. Drive continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support others through change. Qualifications Completion of 2+ years of college or 1 year retail experience with 1 year supervisory experience or 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations and rules. Experience supervising Associates.
