The candidate must be comfortable instructing lower level coursework as well as challenging students with more advance principles in the Mobile Computer Science Principles course. - Responsibilities include daily instruction and assessment, maintaining a safe and rigorous classroom environment, and communicate effectively with colleagues, families and administrators. Candidate should have a certification in Digital Literacy/Computer Science and possess the following skill sets: - Strong problem solving skills - Experience with coding in but not limited to Scratch by MIT, App Inventor, HTML and Python. Ability to write in JavaScript and Java a plus - Must have strong skills in Microsoft 365 including proficiency in Word, Excel and Access - Strong communication skills - Strong classroom management and safety practices - Ability to engage students from variety of backgrounds as active learners - Team player COMPENSATION $54,373.00 - $93,870, commensurate with education and experience Position Type: Full-time Career and Technical Education > Computer Science Job Requirements - Applicant will hold a Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license - Bachelor degree in Digital Literacy/Computer Science, Master's preferred - Able to work independently with minimal direction At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
