We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Kerrville, TX . This is a great opportunity for a dependable maintenance professional looking for a long-term position with the potential to be hired on permanently.
Property Details:
- 81-unit apartment community
- Property built in 1980
- Full-time schedule
- Temp-to-hire opportunity
- Sole Maintenance Technician on site
Requirements:
- EPA Certification required
- Pool Certification required
- Previous apartment maintenance experience required
- Ability to work independently and manage all maintenance operations for the community
- Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
Responsibilities:
- Complete service requests and work orders
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Handle make-readies and unit turns
- Maintain pool area and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Monitor property grounds and common areas
- Coordinate vendors when needed
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as necessary
