We have openings for Ford Certified, Chrysler Certified and Diesel Certified technicians.We are looking for a Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.Automotive Service Technician Benefits:Competitive Compensation: $17.00-$30.00/hour - Based on ExperienceHealth, Medical and Dental401K PlanPaid time off and vacationGrowth opportunitiesFamily owned and operatedLong term job securityGreat cultureAutomotive Service Technician Responsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsMaintain work area in a clean and orderly mannerAutomotive Service Technician Qualifications2+ years of Service Technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification Highly recommendedPrevious experience at a dealership is preferredB level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveAble to work in fast-paced environment and critical decision makingEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbout Us:We are located in beautiful Central Wisconsin; a short drive from anywhere.
