About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in a hospital setting required License: Active compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Advanced skills needed: ability to access portacath or willingness to learn. Description: Two years of experience in a hospital setting is required. An active compact license is required. BLS certification is required. The unit has 25 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-1:5. There are patient care technicians on most shifts. Documentation is done using Meditech. Scheduling requirements include working three 12-hour shifts and every third weekend. The unit has been newly renovated with updated equipment. A new call bell system and new vital sign machines are in place. New scales and IV pumps have also been added. One day and one night shift of PTO is granted at one time. Work every third weekend is expected.
