Position Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend Rotation | No On-Call

Position Overview

A respected Critical Access Hospital in New Hampshire is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join its Behavioral Health team. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about mental health care, patient advocacy, and collaborative care coordination in an outpatient office setting.

The RN will provide direct patient care, medication administration, patient education, and support behavioral health treatment plans while working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate behavioral health nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals on patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and wellness strategies
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
• Provide emotional support and advocate for patient-centered care
• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact License required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong behavioral health or office nursing experience preferred
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient care skills
