CCP LEAD CLINICIAN NF4

CCP Services Manager

Serves as the CCP SME and oversees the delivery of CCP services under the supervision of the BHBH. Provides direction, administrative management and coordination for the CCP. Oversee establishment and maintenance of policies and procedures, QA, case management, data collection, analysis, marketing and staff training. Coordinates clinical counseling services for the CCP and MIP. Serves as the designated POC for the CCP. Oversees counseling referrals, assesses eligibility and fields all requests for information regarding CCP. Organizes workload, sets priorities to include assigning, distributing, evaluating work, coaching and mentoring. Provides clinical supervision by CCP staff for clients. Works with BHBH to determine goals and strategies and monitors progress. Monitors project activities and resources to mitigate risks. Implements or maintains QA processes. Makes program improvements, solves problems or takes corrective action when problems arise. Gives presentations or briefings about the program. Identifies program documentation requirements or procedures. Develops, implements and oversees marketing. Assesses program operations. Monitors progress toward organization goals. Evaluates and adjusts to improve the program. Assists BHBH in program certification. Provides supervision of up to ten hours of pre-licensed clinician work per week. Serves as Clinical Counselor within the BH Branch, MIP. Implement policies, conduct risk assessments and case management services for the MIP. Serves as the first POC for the MIP for active-duty Marines and Sailors who have had a suicidal ideation or attempt. Comprehensive services include risk assessments, safety planning and clinical case management. Reviews, develops, coordinates and provides case management services concerning MIP participants to include anxiety, depression, stress, coping and other factors which detract from an individual's behavioral health. Serves as SME on all BH services to include conducting risk assessments, safety planning, screenings, determination of client's level of functioning, prognosis, treatment or need for appropriate referral. Conducts risk assessments and safety plans with emphasis on case management and follow up contacts. Conducts assessments, evaluations and studies of new, existing and proposed programs to determine effectiveness and impact, recommends changes or improvements in methods and procedures. As a credentialed Licensed Independent Practitioner, performs diagnosis of mental health disorders and determines level of patient treatment that focuses on treatment intensity and individual patient needs. Applies established therapeutic techniques, principles, theories, methods and screens, evaluates and provides case management for clients by interviews and assessment. Including Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale, risk assessments and safety planning for BH related issues. Develop documents and presents identified problems and propose case management plan. Identifies or develops sources for needed therapy and other support services. Conducts assessments or evaluates policies and programs regarding MIP services. Use a variety of methods and techniques as appropriate for situations and clients. Prepares required reports and records. Informs appropriate POC of status, progress, duty limitations and ways to facilitate the treatment process. Works with associated staff from work, Command and treatment facilities to ensure accurate and proper handling of cases. Plans, develops and implements programs designed to foster positive healthy relationships within the family structure. SME on BH issues relating to rehabilitation and treatment plans with projections for proposed changes to improve programming. Evaluates community resources to determine availability, applicability and best utilization of services for potential execution Marine Corps wide. Conducts ongoing review of case management plans and treatment effectiveness to improve services. Promotes and maintains communication and peaceful working relationships with federal, state and local government agencies to develop and maintain good working relationships. Attend conferences and meetings. Prepares supporting documentation for presentations and proposals. May prepare correspondence, briefs, action documents, routing sheets, point papers and slide presentations for use by management officials. Reviews, research, and benchmarks emerging trends and analyze the functional impacts on systems. Represents the Marine Corps at different forums concerning BH. Maintains contacts with officials in Marine Corps commands as well as other Services DoD and Congressional staff to monitor current policies, determine Marine Corps compliance with current programs and to identify trends which affect Marine Corps programs. Collect data from diverse sources and use them to produce meaningful management analysis. Develops correspondence, point papers, briefs and other items for HQMC Flag Officers.
