Director, Safety Scientist Lead - General Medicine

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Regeneron seeks a Director to lead Global Patient Safety Sciences Delivery for General Medicine, overseeing safety data processing, signal management, and regulatory reporting. This role manages a team of Safety Scientists and ensures compliant, high-quality execution of pharmacovigilance activities across the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

Lead signal detection coordination and signal management processes across General Medicine portfolio
Develop standardized practices, processes, and templates for core safety activities
Ensure regulatory compliance and quality management of Safety Sciences Delivery activities
Analyze aggregate safety data to identify emerging safety issues and patterns
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Safety Scientists

Requirements

Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare
12+ years of pharmacovigilance experience, preferably Safety Sciences focused
General Medicine experience in patient safety operations
Strong leadership capabilities and team management experience
Expertise in safety operations optimization and process standardization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
