About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent CV surgery experience License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Minimum of 3 years of recent CV surgery experience. Experience with on and off pump CABG. Description: The unit has 10 ORs and a Cysto room. There are 28 staff members including a Director, Manager, Charge Nurse, multiple Circulators, Surgical Techs, 1-2 Nurse Techs, and 1-2 Anesthesia Techs on day shift. Night shift consists of on-call staff only. Patient ratios are 1-1. EMR used is Expanse. Typical procedures performed include Off Pump CABG, On Pump CABG, Vascular Bypass, Carotid Endarterectomy, and PPM revision. Candidates with Vascular Surgery experience and CV OR experience are preferred. The ideal candidate is hardworking and a team player. Weekends and on-call might be required two weeks out of the month.
