Process Engineering Technician

Role Overview This position provides process sustaining support in an automated semiconductor production environment focused on ASH, WETS, and CLEANS. The role operates on a 12‑hour back‑end night shift with a 3‑on‑4‑off‑4‑on‑3‑off rotating schedule (Wednesday through Friday, and every other Saturday, 6pm–6:15am). Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Engineering team to develop, qualify, and document new processes and tool sets, including design‑of‑experiments (DOE) characterization. Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions; take corrective action and collaborate with Process Engineers and Equipment Maintenance to resolve non‑conformance. Handle material dispositions and resolve lot issues as they arise. Create new procedures and refine existing ones to support quarterly yield and cycle‑time goals. Assist in continuous improvement activities and be open to additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Associate’s degree or at least one year of experience in a technical role. Ability to work in ISO5 (class100) cleanroom for extended periods, lift up to 25lb frequently, and stand or walk most of a shift. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to deliver complex instructions and document data. Basic knowledge of semiconductor physics and chemistry principles. Proficient in MSWord, MSExcel, and MSAccess. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, sit, or move around at the work location for extended periods (up to 11hours). Must use hands to operate machinery or assemble product, lift up to 50lb to chest height, and climb ladders. Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (cleanroom suit, eye protection, gloves, etc.). Schedule 12‑hour back‑end night shift, 3‑on‑4‑off‑4‑on‑3‑off alternating schedule: Wednesday through Friday, and every other Saturday, 6pm–6:15am.
