The facility operates as a clinic-based setting providing outpatient therapeutic services to an adult population. Clients present to the clinic for scheduled services, and therapists remain on-site throughout the duration of their shifts. The facility supports a structured clinical environment designed to deliver consistent, on-site behavioral health care.

The area offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Nearby destinations include McAllister Lake Wildlife Area approximately seven miles away, Fort Union National Monument about 30 miles away, Morphy Lake State Park, and the Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge. Additional amenities include a 9-hole golf course, a riverside walking path along the Gallinas River, and proximity to the Santa Fe Trail, with community events and activities available throughout the year.

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will provide individual therapy services to an adult population on a full-time day shift schedule totaling 40 hours per week. Clinicians will be scheduled for a maximum of six clients per day, with two hours of administrative time allocated for the completion of treatment plans. The clinician will cover a satellite clinic on a once-per-week basis as part of the regular schedule. On an occasional basis, the clinician may also be asked to complete a Clinical Intake and provide crisis services; when this occurs, the schedule will be adjusted accordingly.
