Network Security Engineer II

Seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer II for a remote contract position, responsible for maintaining high system performance, managing secure cloud connections, and ensuring robust connectivity across multi-cloud environments. Key responsibilities Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking solutions across Fortinet, Meraki, and Cisco environments Manage and optimize cloud network infrastructure across Azure and AWS enterprise environments Oversee advanced TCP/IP network functions including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF routing protocols, and subnetting Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 3 to 5 years of network engineering or network administration experience Proven hands-on experience with Fortinet, Meraki, or Cisco enterprise networking technologies Core experience supporting Azure and AWS cloud networking environments Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, routing protocols, and network troubleshooting tools Virtual Vocations Inc
