Role Description We are seeking a full-time Asphalt Paving Foreman to oversee and manage paving crews on-site in Elwood, IL. The Foreman will coordinate daily activities, manage crew members, and ensure that jobs are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include supervising the preparation and application of asphalt, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining equipment. The role requires effective communication with superintendent, project managers, site supervisors, and clients to resolve issues and ensure optimal quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in asphalt paving, site preparation, and applying construction best practices Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee crews effectively Knowledge of equipment maintenance, operation, and repair related to paving Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and construction plans Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively Commitment to enforcing and promoting workplace safety standards Valid driver’s license required and CDL is a plus Familiarity with local and state paving regulations is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Austin Tyler Construction
