QA Engineer Intern

This is an internship built for someone who wants real ownership over the quality of a product people actually use, not a shadowing exercise. You'll test our modern Next.js application end-to-end and have a direct line to the engineers shipping it.What you'll do:Test new features, bug fixes, and complete user workflowsPerform functional, regression, integration, responsive, usability, and exploratory testingValidate forms, authentication, permissions, APIs, database operations, and third-party integrationsIdentify UI, UX, responsiveness, consistency, and accessibility issuesTest across browsers, devices, screen sizes, user roles, and edge-case statesReproduce and document bugs with clear steps, screenshots, recordings, and technical detailsVerify fixes and check for regressionsCreate test cases, QA checklists, and release-testing proceduresHelp write and maintain automated tests for critical workflowsWhat we're looking for:Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, authentication, and databasesFamiliarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive designFamiliarity with React or Next.jsExperience with Postman, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, or VitestStrong attention to detail and an eye for good UI/UXAbility to investigate, reproduce, and clearly document issuesFamiliarity with Git and collaborative development workflowsClear communication and a willingness to learnNice to have:Basic SQL or PostgreSQL knowledgeUnderstanding of accessibility testingExposure to Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues, CI/CD, or Vercel
